Some of us spent a good bit of Wednesday and Thursday relaying information we received from colleagues and friends, broadcasting the events in D.C. via their mobile phones. Many of us were annoyed, although not surprised, that the main-stream media’s broadcasts were quite different from those we were receiving from our own, personally and professionally, trusted sources.
It’s certain that not all citizen journalists report truthfully. However, the independent arena works to present factual content and bring to light, those who produce false, or only partially true, content.
The news I got from D.C. this week was produced by folks there, from a variety of areas within the Patriot Rally, via mobile phones in these multiple locations. They observed and reported such things as crisis actors staging videos of fake violence and injuries. Others provided live broadcasts of ANTIFA engaged in violence, while outfitted in MAGA clothing. There was also coverage of the four busses carrying ANTIFA rioters (dressed as MAGA patriots) into the rally area, where they left the bus and dispersed among the crowd of over one-million people. When the opportunity arose for them to begin engaging in violent activity, mainstream media sent reports around the globe that the illegal, malicious acts were committed by patriots.
These videos arrived via the broadcasters’ Facebook pages and will remain there until they are removed by FB censorship.
Yesterday, I watched a live news feed from the Whitehouse, via America Can We Talk?, where the actions of Wednesday were continued to be reported inaccurately, in direct opposition to what citizen journalists provided video of, from the day before.
Whitehouse spokesperson, Kayleigh McEnany, addressed the nation regarding the violent activities that occurred during the patriot’s gathering. In it, she never stated the Captial building had been “breached”. Yet, the mainstream media headlines stated exactly that.
Independent feeds presented a clear view of the opposite, as the guards willingly, and without coercion, opened the gates and doors to the building and stepped away to allow those nearby to enter without interference.
Here are a few examples of the false and inflammatory narrative produced by main-stream media coverage.
When the riotous actions began, mainstream media reported it was the patriot protestors, not ANTIFA, committing the acts.
Video broadcasts from patriots showed other patriots interceding to stop ANTIFA from doing what they’re known for, destroying property.
Citizen journalists also reported stun grenades being tossed into the crowds of sincerely peaceful protestors, who were singing and praying. Soon after, they were followed by stun-grenades and tear-gas.
MMM (main-stream media) also reported rioting and violent confrontations between patriot rally participants and DCPD, through the night, yet my sources were out, investigating the streets, but found all the areas they cruised through to be quiet and mostly deserted.
If your preference is for real and fair journalism, here’s a list to help you get acquainted with some awesome news sources.
Admittedly, Kim Ferguson is my first go-to for citizen journalism. The others are also excellent. I glean from Kim's first because she produces content in fast, short segments I can easily keep up with. The others I get to when I’ve got several minutes to peruse their articles and video broadcasts.
I hope this will at least provide you with some strong incentive to consider using news sources that are trustworthy against those who provide a false narrative. Their method is to produce false, exciting info in hopes of manipulating your preferences to move you into supporting an agenda you may or may not be aware of.
My prayer is for God’s guidance in your search for truth.
