How are you feeling? Yup, it’s very important. I’ll explain why shortly.

Passover 2022... Earlier today, I messaged my friend Cheryl Lee, in Texas. Told her that on this set of holy days, I’m always at both ends of the ruler. Saddened over the terrible price God paid to be the final sacrifice for humanity, and both awed and humbled at the unfathomable oceans’ worth of love it required to go through with it.

It’s more than any of us will ever be able to process, while in these clay houses.

I asked how you’re feeling in sincerity, and I hope your answer is that you’re feeling good and are finding numerous ways to appreciate Passover.

Today’s post is being produced with concern in event you’re not...
I wanted dedicate this post to assuring you that there are many things to consider, that are worth allowing your spirits to lift and not give into the blues that sometimes comes with holy day observance.

This one especially, because the price was the highest ever paid to ensure you to have joy, even during the darkest of trials.

Whatever situation you’re in, there’s comfort to be found. The Gospel refers to it as joy unspeakable and full of glory. Specifically, Apostle Peter explained it like this...

“...whom, not having known, you love. In Him, though now you don’t see Him, yet believing, you rejoice greatly with joy that is unspeakable and full of glory,”  1 Peter 1:8 WMB (World Messianic Bible)

It’s true. Yeshua was God wrapped in flesh.

Apostle John wrote...
  • “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1 WMB
“In him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness hasn’t overcome* it.” John 1:4 WMB
  • “The Word became flesh and lived among us.” John 1:14 WMB
  • “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only born‡ Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.” John 3:16 WMB

It was immeasurable love that moved God to do what we couldn’t do for ourselves.
During holy days, loads of folks contemplate their purpose, their worth. If that’s you, be assured you were divinely designed with both.

King David said...

“For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb.

“I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

"Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well.

“My frame wasn’t hidden from you, when I was made in secret, woven together in the depths of the earth.

“Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them.

“How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is their sum! If I would count them, they are more in number than the sand. When I wake up, I am still with you.”

Psalm 139: 13-18 WMB

Be encouraged! How God loves David is how He loves you, too!

“For there is no partiality with God.” Romans 2:11 WMB

All these aspects of God’s love for us, made up the path that led to the cross on Passover more than two millennia ago. If you’re feeling stressed, worried, sick, alone or maybe unsure if you’re loved or special to anyone, I hope you’ll be encouraged in the reality of that not being the case at all.

You haven't been passed over. You were divinely created with the ability to “...taste and see that the Lord is good. Blessed is the man that takes refuge in Him.” Psalm 34:8 WMB

If there were only you, He’d still have endured the agony of Friday, so you could celebrate the victory He’d deliver to you on Monday.

The tomb is empty. He is risen. He is alive.

He is available to you and loves you more than you can fathom.

Shabbat Shalom
