Many thanks to my friend, Rev. Darla Jones, for sharing some intel with me about Moringa being used to help maintain healthy blood sugar levels. I’ve been challenged with Type II Diabetes for a couple of years. Rather than my stats improving, they worsened, somewhat due to Covid-CoopUp bringing on a decrease in physical activity.
Over the last several months, my A1C level elevated from 7 to 9. If you’re not familiar with good numbers or good range for this, both are bad. My blood pressure stats were equally bad.
And so, my care team informed me it was time to graduate to insulin. Since that wasn't an appealing remedy, I went with other options I'd heard about, wanting to try them before immediately moving to insulin. I can barely manage a finger-stick for daily glucose checks. I’d be much worse at self-injections. Beyond that, while still Type II, I sincerely wanted to be proactive in getting better, rather than upping my meds because I’d gotten worse. Nearly three weeks ago, I began taking cinnamon caps, four times a day. Within a couple days, I did see a decrease in sugars. Within a few days of implementing the cinnamon caps (capsules), I also began taking Hawthorn caps. I saw a near-immediate change (for the good) in my blood pressure as well. The blood pressure drop was especially impressive because I'd decreased my prescribed hypertension meds. They’d been causing consistent, ferocious and crazy-painful muscle cramps. First in my toes, then my feet, then my ankles, then calves and finally my thighs. I stopped before they started wigging my heart out.
The following week (last week) I began taking Moringa to help further lower my glucose and...it worked! In fact, it’s working GREAT!!!
Only a week ago, my sugar, in the mornings, was averaging between 270-something and 320. Not so now! I’m hitting in the 140s most mornings and often lower ranges through the day and into evening. I keep a stats log (mostly morning afternoon and evening) in a Google Sheet (which I can share with my care team). Each time I see a spike, I can account for what I ate that may have caused it, in the notes (comments) section on the sheet.
He could have simply healed me and been done with it, but with what I’m learning, perhaps I can help someone else with a similar dilemma and be an encouragement for them in their prayer life and Bible study. Jesus encourages me every day and I'm always excited for each opportunity to do the same for others.
Faith in God’s help, however He delivers it, is an amazing thing. He wants us to trust Him. He wants us to take good care of our blessings and be good stewards with our physical temples. I’m more diligent now than ever in my whole life. This body only lasts a lifetime and I can't do what He's called me to do if I'm consistently ill. So, this post has hopefully provided you with another tool for your FarmaCOPEia arsenal. Moringa works great to help maintain a healthy blood sugar level.
Now for the Beirut miracle...
Please remember the Azar family, their congregation and all of Beirut in your prayers. The people there are enduring a high rate of unemployment and soaring inflation. The church not only provided a sanctuary for worship and encouragement but also a learning center. The congregation is also a source of food and medicine distribution in the communities they serve.
One person may only be able to give a little, but God can make much out of little or even nothing.
“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.” Luke 6:38 KJV Shalom!
