For BiblePhiles : Young's Literal Translation

If you’re wanting to enhance your bible studies, one of the best tools I’ve ever used is Young’s Literal Translation of the Bible. I’ve not been using it long, and already it’s become a daily aspect of my own Bible study and biblical research.

If you’ve not used it yourself, please consider it because, WOW! It takes Bible study to a whole new level while still enhancing your favorite, or most used, translations. It’s versatile to use for basic book-chapter-and-verse reading, or specifically targeted studies with multiple books, chapters, and verses.

I have the digital version on both Kindle and Google Play, but if you’re wanting a hardcopy, they’re easy to find and purchase at loads of online and in-store book shops. I prefer hard-copies but, transitioning to tiny-house living, I don’t have room for a large physical library, so most of my books are digital.

Available for 99¢ USD as of this post's publication date. Click here to get it on amazon.com.
A tip, currently (11-17-2020), the eBook version for Kindle is available for 99¢ USD. Yup, a book full of diamond-info for under a buck! At that price, you can purchase several as gift copies. (Hint-hint...)

I’ve been using my eBook version during morning bible studies, along with the Hebrew translation (Old Testament only) at Chabad.org. Both have provided greater depth in my study time and helps me be more effective when sharing the Word with others.
The Chabad.org site houses some free epic bible study tools as well, and if you’ve not visited it yet, please do. I introduced it here, on By the Way..., in last week’s post.

If you decide to make Young’s Literal Translation a part of your own Bible-based library, please drop me an email and let me know how you like it!

Thank you for your visit and hope your autumn has been packed with blessings.

Shalom!

Hi Angelia...

God bless you as well and thank you for the invite. Just purchased a copy of Young's Literal and scanning through and you are right it is a great addition and tool for study.
Like you in efforts to downsize my physical library has some excellent resources. Many of which I have passed on because of digital downloads.
Passing along well wishes, hugs (Virtual) and many blessings... Rolly

Hi Rolly!

So glad you've bought the book! It's a wonderful asset and taken my bible study to a whole new level.

I've been using it in comparison, while making my way through the Old Testament and weekly Torah and Haftara portions at Chabad.org.

It took me a while to find Hebrew-to-English translations of the bible, and while reading Jonathan Cahn's "Harbinger" series, I put some additional effort into finding what I needed.

My little brother suggested both Young's Literal Translation and Chabad.org. Both have been everything I'd hoped they'd be, except I can't place bookmarks in the bible content at Chabad.org, lol. However, it's so close to perfect, I'm all good. I just leave myself a note on Google Keep to pick up where I left off.

Blessings from Indiana!
