Picking up where Bloody point left off, its sequel, Battered Justice, is equally intriguing and action-packed. By the second read, it’s a good guess that you’ll be as pleased as I was to carry on with familiar characters and places.
Series-reads are my favorites. Those produced by author, Linda J. White, easily rank among my favorites. My sister and I are such fans of her work, they maintain space near our Peretti collection in her library.
This second novel is as well-named as the first, but not in the aspect of gore. White’s work is far too classy for that. The settings and circumstances she weaves into her books are always packed with fascinating details while keeping it reader-friendly for young adults and up.
If you’re thinking her work is watered down for lack of adult content, That’d be a negative, Ghost Rider...

Some fav FBI agents are back, big and bright as ever!
Cass McKenna and Jake Tucker team with colleagues, family and friends as they press through some devastating and unfair circumstances. Fatalities have been brought on by fair-faced (yet ruthless) politicians, operating with dark souls and dirty hands.
Their close friend and colleague is caught in crossfire and left for dead. The agency finds itself nearly crippled in its operations to find the shooters. While turning over rocks in their investigation, a landslide erupts, exposing a den of thieves and killers attached to the U.S. Senate. Seems some of those elected to serve are exempt from abiding by the law. Thankfully, divine intervention rules. With determination and spiritual inspiration, the agents set about reclaiming territory stolen by the dark side. In the doing, they’re reminded that often the most deadly enemies to overcome are those we allow to reside and thrive within our own spirits.
Some aspects of this book were like reading parts of my own life’s story, and I was yet again reminded of Jesus Christ’s amazing grace, mercy and the miraculous that have allowed me to be here, typing this for you to read today.
I hope you’ll get your own copy of Bloody Justice. I also pray you’ll give in to the desire to get a copy for a friend, or even several friends after you read it. There’s never a bad time to gift a book, with the expectation of it changing someone’s life in all good ways. Shalom!
